Fast Flip is a really fun game! We also really enjoyed this one! I believe this was great for my little one. Who knows their numbers, they got the hang of it quickly. It really gets their attention because of all the cute fruit designs. So it makes them want to play. I like how this game comes in a small triangular tin can. It means I can take this anywhere to keep the kids busy while learning. Game is educational and they are encouraging their math skills.
Skills of this game is focus and attention, visual perception, processing speed. So guys you have to be quick on this one. Really focus to make sure you don't make a wrong move or you will be skipped till next round. It's like finding a match but at a fast pace.
Fat Flip is for ages 7 and up and can be play with 2 to 8 players. Contains 54 Cards and 10 very cute looking fruit tokens!
First you start of by shuffling the deck of cards. Each of the cards have 2 sides one side with different fruits on them. The other side a number or one specific fruit, that determines what you need to look for.
For example, I have to flip the first card - pictured below -
I have a 2 and the other card is the one with all the fruits. What we have to do is figure out which fruit is seen on the card 2 times - in this round it will be the raspberry.
3 ways to play Fast Flip
First way to play is just with the cards, keep them all face down and 1 card facing up and go from there. Racing to find the match between the two cards.
Second way to play, is to lay out the 10 fruit tokens. Instead of calling out the match just be quick to grab the token - that counts as 1 point. But you gotta be fast or any of the players can come in and swoop the fruit away and earn it as a point. Who ever gets 3 tokens wins the game!
Third way to play is arranging the fruit token in a row in any order you'd like. This time the tokens decide what to find on the card, not the back of the card like game 1. So when a new card is facing up you have to look to the left most token and that will be the match you will have to find. Who ever finds the match and keeps the token as a point. At the end of 10 turns the one wit the most tokens wins.
It's really interesting how the the fruits on the card guarantees that there will always be one correct answer!
