I really liked these lunch kits from Smart Planet. I personally have a couple and use them all the time, they are great! I first spotted them in Burlington Coat Factory, they looked so cool so I got a couple to use for my kids lunch. They liked the bright colors and the way they felt. I really liked because they didn't stain for me. I've used plastic types and it gets ugly food stains. Recently I got a chance to review their new Portion Perfect Lunch On the Go.
It is pretty neat it is all portioned for the right amount of each serving. You don't need any measuring cups or, special portion accessories this already has it built in. You just serve and go! I really like this for me! I am able to just serve up my food with no problem.
Each compartment measures 1 cup, you can also collapse and it reduces in half the size.
Put in your proteins, veggies, fruit, and grains or whatever you'd like. It's great if you are on a diet, since it already has the portion compartments on it.
I think this would also be great for packing your kids lunches. Cause, it also collapses so it's easier to fit in their lunch bag. I really like that they are made from silicone. It is microwave safe and top rack dishwasher safe.
